Heather Ferri, Dance Faculty (B.A. - Point Park University)

Heather has worked with many of the great tap legends Buster Brown, Gregory Hines, and assisted Henry LeTang at the Broadway Dance Center.  She is also a Guinness World Record Holder having completed 16 consecutive turns in tap shoes on one foot!

Bridget Gill, Dance Faculty (B.A. - Point Park College, M.S. - Duquesne University, PhD. - University of Pittsburgh)
Bridget has taught dance for many years in the Pittsburgh area. In addition she has performed in dance companies, stage performances, and theme parks. Dr. Gill is also currently Vice-Principal at Mellon Middle School in Mt. Lebanon. 

Marianne Irwin, Dance Faculty (Tap – Jack Stanley, Jazz – Luigi, Ballet – Francois LeFevre)
 
  Marianne has toured the US and Canada as a featured dancer for theater night clubs, and concerts, She has been featured in performances with Dean Martin, The McGuire Sisters and Joey Bishop.  Marianne is the Choreographer for the Center’s Broadway Kids and has over 25 years teaching experience in the Pittsburgh area. 
 
 

 Samantha Macklin, Dance Faculty (Point Park College, Nevada School of Massage Therapy)
Samantha teaches throughout the Pittsburgh area and has choreographed the Northgate Competitive Dance Team.  She has performed as a dancer in the Las Vegas review at the Riviera Hotel and is a nationally certified massage therapist.
 
Kim Scalise McVay, Dance Faculty (B.A. - Point Park University)
Kim was selected as Point Park University's Outstanding Graduating Senior. She has appeared in Winnie Flynn's annual Holiday Show, Footloose, The Wiz, Fame, and currently teaches 10th grade English at Ringgold High School.
 
Alivia Vereb Owen, Dance Faculty (B.A. Point Park University)

Alivia, a former Center student, has taught dance at Carnegie Mellon University, South Fayette High School and Dance Etc. Performing Arts Studio.  She has performed throughout the area for the Civic Light Opera, The Pittsburgh Playhouse and West Virginia Public Theater. In New York City, she has performed with the Vissi Dance Theater.  Alivia has worked as an actor in numerous commercials and films including As the World Turns, Wonder Boys, and Sophia for Now. Recently, Alivia landed a national print ad for the PUR water campaign.
