Jennie Lynn Gorton, Musical Theater Faculty (B.A. - Eastern Nazarre College, M.F.A. - Boston University)
Jennie has taught voice at both the high school and university level and served a musical director for Children of Eden, Godspell, The Music Man as well as performances at Carnegie Hall and Olympic Games in Australia in 2000. She has also been a member of both eh Nashville Symphony Chorus and the Tanglewood Chorus with the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Jill Jeffrey, (B.F.A. - Dennison University)
Recently appeared as Ariel in Gemini Theater's The Little Mermaid. Jill has taught
8th grade English and has worked as an actress, director and theater teacher
throughout the area.

Rebecca MacTaggart - Musical Theater Faculty (BA - Musical Theater, Point Park College)
Rebecca has performed in various theaters throughout Pennsylvania as well as in some films and commercials. Originally from the Philadelphia area, Rebecca danced with the Harrisson Dancers where she appeared on the Al Albert's Show as a dancer for a number of years. Rebecca is pleased to be teaching at the Center where every child has a place to shine
Kim McVay (B.A. – Point Park University),
Alivia Vereb Owen, Dance Faculty (B.A. Point Park University)
Alivia, a former Center student, has taught dance at Carnegie Mellon University,
South Fayette High School and Dance Etc. Performing Arts Studio. She has
performed throughout the area for the Civic Light Opera, The Pittsburgh Playhouse
and West Virginia Public Theater. In New York City, she has performed with the
Vissi Dance Theater. Alivia has worked as an actor in numerous commercials
and films including As the World Turns, Wonder Boys, and Sophia for Now. Recently,
Alivia landed a national print ad for the PUR water campaign.
Carol Lee Ponzio, (B.S.M. Ed.– Seton Hill College)
Carol Lee helped develop the Introduction to Performing Arts Program and Musical Theater for Students with Special Needs programs in 1981, and is a founding faculty member. She has served as musical director for Center productions and performance companies as well as community choirs. Carol Lee is also a private piano teacher and organist and has previously taught for the North Allegheny and Carlynton School Districts.

Melissa has appeared in productions of Annie Get Your Gun, Guys and Dolls,
The Three Musketeers, and Oklahoma. She has served as music director
for productions of Working and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and is
currently musical director for the Broadway Kids
