Marian Bollman, Voice Faculty  (B.A. – Carlow College)

Marian has worked as a vocal coach and musical director for numerous theaters, performers and schools such as CCAC Summer Theater.  She also serves as musical director for the Center’s high school and all-school musicals.  Marian has taught in public and private school as well as with many private students.

Christina Capecci, (B.S.M.Ed. – Duquesne University)

Christina has sung with the Pittsburgh Opera Company and the Pittsburgh Oratorio Society.  She recently sang in the Lambs Theater (Off-Broadway) in New York.  Christina has served as adjunct professor of voice for Duquesne University, and is the director of voice studies at the Center for Theater Arts where she created the voice program for young students.  Christina has continued postgraduate voice conservatory studies and is the soprano soloist at St. Bernard Church.

Carol Lee Ponzio, (B.S.M.Ed. – Seton Hill College) 

Carol Lee helped develop the Introduction to Performing Arts Program and Musical Theater for Students with Special Needs programs in 1981, and is a founding faculty member. She has served as musical director for Center productions and performance companies as well as community choirs. Carol Lee is also a private piano teacher and organist and has previously taught for the North Allegheny and Carlynton School Districts.

Melissa Yanchak, Voice & Musical Theater Faculty (Duquesne University)

Melissa has accompanied and music directed for theater groups throughout the Pittsburgh area, including Heritage Players, Old Schoolhouse Players, the Point Park Playhouse, and the CLO Academy.  Melissa has taught at the Center since 2000, and prior to and during that time attended Duquesne University where she sang with the Duquesne University Chamber Singers and performed with the Horn Choir and Symphonic Band. Melissa is a member of the Voice and Musical Theatre Departments and currently music directs for the Center for Theater Arts' traveling performance troupe, the Broadway Kids. Melissa often serves as Music Director for the Center's High School Musicals and All-School Musicals.
